Unfortunately, I don't think we're going to get a story from Bob, so just enjoy this photo of him running the Gates console in the building at US 36/Stanley Avenue and CO Highway 7, where Thorp & Associates is now located. This is similar to the way the station looked when I first visited it. It was a lot of fun back then!
