What would you like to see featured on our web site? In addition to station history and photos (I could definitely use more!), I am thinking about adding more local content, photos, information on hiking in RMNP, and weather. What would be most useful to you?
Being back in Estes Park again has re-ignited my interest in KSIR and its history. I hope you like the design of the new web site. Please feel free to comment or contribute if you have something to share!

Hey, how about a reunion? If we start talking about it now, maybe next year or within a few years! Anyone want to help me track alumni? I have started the list again, and again! Anyone ever

Just wanted to let you know that 1470 AM in Estes Park went dark on 17 October 2011. From what I heard the shutdown took place on air in the form of a cease and desist order being issued.

Brian, thanks for the update and also for your contributions to the site! I am sorry to hear of the demise of 1470. Hopefully, some one will bring it back. Too bad Stan is no longer with us!
